Workshop Overview

Jail Operations Management:
Strengthening facility safety and security

Inmate management begins immediately when an individual enters the facility and continues throughout their incarceration. Staff and administrators are required to make many important decisions every day that influence virtually every aspect of jail operations. Medical and mental health treatment, substance abuse, classification, housing, programming, work assignments, community corrections and pre-trial release are all impacted by these decisions. The challenges faced are complex and continue to become more difficult with each passing year. Having the tools and training to understand how to efficiently and effectively navigate the process is imperative.

Our trainers have over 50 years of experience with those challenges and decisions. In addition, they have travelled around the country and worked with jails seeking to make life easier and safer for their staff and the inmates in their care. The purpose of this workshop is to share our knowledge and experience with the participants to help them return home and evaluate the processes they have in place.

Fee:  $199 per person*
